I have been looking forward to sharing this beautiful summer wedding at The Farmhouse at The Essex Resort and Spa since our very first meeting last summer. The overall inspiration for the decor is the scenery of the Green Mountains of Vermont! From garden-inspired floral designs to the shades of blues and greens that were repeated throughout the weekend’s events, everything was very natural and grounded.
The bride’s bouquet is like a summer garden and truly smelled divine! Flower featured include pink cosmos, lisianthus, roses and spray roses with jasmine, orange ranunculus and zinnias, lavender stock and blue delphinium.
Our birch arbor served as a chuppah for the ceremony in the garden at The Essex, followed by a reception in The Farmhouse. The centerpieces were designed in gold compote bowls for a touch of elegance with a colorful mix of blooms spilling out. All of the arrangements are made without the green floral foam so they are more environmentally friendly.
If you’re getting married at The Farmhouse, you know that the mantelpiece is a highlight in the space! We made sure to take advantage of all sides of the fireplace in our design plans as you can see in the video below.
One of my favorite details was the floral arrangement on the bar. It was elegant, yet whimsical and fun with some touches of purple phlox from my garden.
You’ll find flowers including chamomile, roses, zinnias, snapdragons, delphinium, cremones, phlox, hydrangea and some fresh apple branches, oregano and mint from my garden in these designs. Each one made with love and care!
It’s always fun to see how all of the details come together after a year or so of wedding planning, but it’s especially exciting to get to see the reaction of super happy clients (and their moms!) when they see the flowers on the wedding day!
